Do auto insurance companies offer lower rates for loyal customers?
My policy is up for renewal and I'd like to increase my coverages. I'm getting a quote from another company for a lower rate, but would my insurance company match their rate since I've been a loyal customer?

company to find out whether they can offer you a similar rate. Insurance carriers don’t often offer loyalty discounts or automatic discounts, so you’ll need to talk to them directly.If you want to increase your coverage and you’re receiving a lower rate with another company, you should consider switching. Since every company has different discounts and rating factors, you may not be able to get a lower rate with your current company.
It’s always recommended to shop around during your policy renewal period. As long as you maintain continuous insurance coverage, you won’t be penalized for switching companies for a better rate.
