“Roadside assistance companies often require that the policyholder be present for the service. If you are listed on your mother’s plan but don’t have a card, it shouldn’t be an issue.
If you aren’t included on her membership, you’ll likely have a more difficult time using it. Most service providers will ask to see identification when servicing a vehicle. They want to ensure that they’re providing service to someone who pays for and is covered by the membership.
However, there are terms and conditions to every membership or plan. You can always ask your mom if you’re specifically covered under the plan. If not, she may be able to easily add you onto the plan.”
