Can you put gas in an electric car?

I’d love to try out an electric car like a Tesla for my next car, but I’m worried about my car running out of power before I can get to a charging station. Can you put gas in an electric car if you can’t get to an outlet?

If the car is fully electric, no, there will be no place to put gas in the car because it does not have a combustion engine. The right choice for you would probably be a hybrid car. Hybrid cars have both a rechargeable electric motor and a gas-powered engine, so you can still rely on gas if needed—but will be saving big at the gas pump from not having to fill up as often.
