Can you pass your driving test after one week of practice?

I’m slightly embarrassed to admit this, but I’m 25 and I still don’t have my driver’s license. I’m trying to get as much practice as quickly as possible so I can finally get my license. Is it possible to pass your driving test after practicing for a week?

First of all, please don’t feel embarrassed—there are plenty of people in your age bracket (and older) who are just starting to drive. Besides, there’s no time like the present!
It is possible—but unlikely—to pass your driving test after one week of practice. While it varies, most states require driving permit holders to have around 40 to 50 hours of on-the-road practice at minimum to complete their training log. Usually, at least 10 of these hours must include nighttime driving.
In addition to driving practice, you may need up to 30 hours of classroom study.
You should check your state’s driving laws to see what the requirements are and consider taking driving courses to get you up to speed. And don’t rush things—practice is important to keep you and others you share the road with

If you’ve already logged your state’s minimum driving hours, then you’re ready to focus on studying. Generally, reviewing and studying for the driver’s license exam can take around one to two weeks. You can take a written practice exam and ask your instructor to give you a mock road test to assess your current knowledge and test preparedness.
