Can you get arrested for driving past curfew?
My parents gave me a curfew when I borrow the car. They told me that it’s not their curfew but the state’s curfew for drivers my age. I want to go to a movie and I’m not sure if I’ll be home on time. Can I get arrested for driving past curfew?

Your parents are probably telling the truth, as many localities have curfew laws for drivers under 17 or under 21. However, you won’t get arrested for driving past curfew.
If you’re pulled over after curfew, the cop will tell you to go home. At worst, you may get a ticket or have your
license suspended
.The real issue here is whether you want to take on your parents. They’re allowing you to borrow their car and only have one rule: to be home on time. As a youngster, the wrath of your parents is almost certainly as harsh as the long arm of the law. Tread lightly.
