For ICE vehicles, the engine and the wheels are independent of one another, however, for EVs, the electric motor is directly connected to the wheels. Since electric vehicles use the motor for all their functions, you cannot separate the two even if you put the car in neutral.
When the wheels spin, the motor also spins and on long drives, the static electricity and heat energy can damage the motor pretty badly.
The best and safest bet would be to just use the RV or motorhome. Although it’s more inconvenient to park and maneuver through smaller spaces, it is the surest way to know your car is safe.
