Can you flat tow a Ram 1500?
My partner and I are moving, and we’re each driving a moving truck full of our stuff. Can I flat tow my Ram 1500 behind one of the moving trucks, or do I need to rent a trailer for it, too?

Moving can be both exciting and stressful at the same time—especially when you’ve got an extra vehicle to move. While it’s possible to flat tow a four-wheel-drive Ram 1500, it’s not recommended, and you should never attempt to tow a two-wheel-drive Ram 1500. In short, do yourself a favor and rent a trailer, or pay to have the truck moved on a flatbed to avoid causing damage to the vehicle’s drivetrain.
