I’m going on a camping trip in my RV. While I usually just take my RV, I was thinking about towing my PT Cruiser to save some money on gas if I go on side trips. Is it possible to flat tow a PT Cruiser?

You can flat tow a PT Cruiser, but only if it has a manual transmission. To successfully tow the PT Cruiser with a stick, put the vehicle in neutral before you tow the vehicle. Be sure to consult your owner’s manual to conduct a proper tow.
However, you cannot tow the PT Cruiser if it has an automatic transmission. Flat towing an automatic can damage the drivetrain and possibly the transmission. The only towing alternative for an automatic PT Cruiser is a flatbed trailer.
