Bringing a smaller vehicle along for side trips is a great idea when you’re driving something big, like an RV. Unfortunately, you cannot flat tow a Mitsubishi Outlander.
The Outlander’s continuously variable transmission (CVT) makes it incompatible with flat towing. If you attempt to flat tow it, you could cause severe and costly damage to the drivetrain.
