Can you flat tow a Mitsubishi Outlander?
My best friend and I are doing some sightseeing this summer in an RV. We want to bring my Mitsubishi Outlander along for side trips after we park at campsites. Can we flat tow it?

Bringing a smaller vehicle along for side trips is a great idea when you’re driving something big, like an RV. Unfortunately, you cannot flat tow a Mitsubishi Outlander.
The Outlander’s continuously variable transmission (CVT) makes it incompatible with flat towing. If you attempt to flat tow it, you could cause severe and costly damage to the drivetrain.
