Congrats on your retirement! As to whether or not you can flat tow your Honda HR-V, it depends on its age. According to Honda, HR-V models from 2014 to 2017 should not be flat towed. That said, the 2020 HR-V is rated for flat towing so long as it is equipped with a manual transmission, though you’ll need some additional equipment, such as a tow bar, base plates, wiring, and supplemental braking.
