Can you flat tow a 2021 Jeep Cherokee?
My wife and I are going to be vacationing in our motorhome for most of the summer so we want to bring our Jeep along so that we can get around town as needed. Is it possible to flat tow a 2021 Jeep Cherokee?

If you’ve never towed a vehicle before it can be intimidating! You can flat tow a 2021 Jeep Cherokee if it comes with a two-speed Power Transfer Unit (PTU). A PTU is Jeep’s all-wheel drive (AWD) transfer case that can switch the Jeep’s drivetrain into AWD.
When you flat tow a vehicle, all four wheels touch the ground. The towed vehicle is attached to the vehicle that pulls it by a tow bar. Vehicles that do not have AWD cannot be flat towed and will need to be towed using either a tow dolly or a flatbed.
