I’m in the market for a new crossover, but I don’t want to spend a bundle. I also want to make sure I can tow it behind my RV without buying a ton of extra equipment. The EcoSport seems like a perfect fit. But can I flat tow a 2020 Ford EcoSport?

The 2020 Ford EcoSport cannot be flat towed, regardless of whether you have front-wheel drive or four-wheel drive. If you ignore this warning, you may **damage the transmission, have the warranty voided, and have your

denied.However, you still have other options. The four-wheel-drive version can be towed on a flatbed trailer only. Conversely, the front-wheel-drive EcoSport can be towed on either a flatbed or a two-wheel dolly. Just make sure to lift the front wheels off the ground if you decide to use the two-wheel dolly.
