Can you flat tow a 2019 Jeep Compass?
My mother is getting a new car, and she’s offering to give me her 2019 Jeep Compass. However, I don’t necessarily want to take it unless it’s easy to tow behind my RV. Is it possible to flat tow a 2019 Compass?

That’s an amazing gesture from your ma! Unfortunately, you can’t flat tow any version or variant of the 2019 Jeep Compass. The platform of the 2019 Compass isn’t made for flat towing, so if you attempt it, you risk causing serious damage to the transmission and drivetrain and voiding the warranty.
That said, there are a few towing alternatives. You can flat tow the front-wheel-drive and the four-wheel-drive Compass with a flatbed trailer in all situations. The front-wheel-drive Compass is also capable of being towed on a two-wheel dolly, provided that you lift the front two wheels off the ground.
