Can you flat tow a 2019 Honda Ridgeline?

I’m giving my brother my 2019 Honda Ridgeline as a gift. He lives about 200 miles away, so I thought I’d tow it rather than increase the mileage on the truck. Is there any way I can flat tow the 2019 Honda Ridgeline?

That’s such a kind gesture and I’m sure he appreciates it! Unfortunately, you cannot flat tow a 2019 Honda Ridgeline under any circumstances. Simply put, the Ridgeline is not made to tow with all four wheels on the ground, and doing so can damage the transmission and void the warranty. On top of that, it’s likely that your
car insurance claim
will also be denied.
If you want to tow the truck, you’re going to need a flatbed trailer. It’s the only Honda-approved way to tow a Ridgeline. If you don’t have one, it’s not exactly cheap. Flatbed trailers typically cost between $1,000 and $3,000.
Since you’re getting rid of your
Honda Ridgeline insurance costs
, you’ll definitely have a bit of money saved up for a new ride or whatever else you want to buy. But if you want to save even more, download the
