I just purchased a Ford F-250 to tow my Ford Edge with me to the lake. However, I’ve never towed it before and I don’t want to spend money on a trailer if it isn’t necessary. Can I flat tow my 2018 Ford Edge?

You might be able to flat tow your 2018 Ford Edge. It all depends on what’s under the hood. As long as you don’t have the 2.0-liter EcoBoost four-cylinder engine, the Edge is fully capable of being flat towed.
If you have the 2.0-liter Edge, don’t stress too much. You can still tow the 2.0-liter EcoBoost Edge by using a flatbed trailer. Typically, these trailers cost somewhere between $1,000 and $3,000, but you can save quite a bit of money by buying a used one.
