I recently bought a motorhome and I want to tow my 2015 Terrain behind it. However, I’ve never towed a vehicle behind my motorhome, so I’m not sure what method is acceptable. Is it possible to flat tow a 2015 GMC Terrain that has all-wheel drive?

You can flat tow a 2015 GMC Terrain AWD without any problems, so long as you follow the proper procedure.
To flat tow a 2015 GMC Terrain AWD without damaging it, follow these steps:
- Position the vehicle to be towed and secure it to the towing vehicle.
- Turn the ignition key to on/run.
- Shift the transmission neutral.
- Turn the ignition key to accessory (ACC).
- Turn all accessories off.
- To prevent the battery from draining while the vehicle is being towed, remove Fuse 32 from the instrument panel fuse block and store it in a safe location.
The front-wheel-drive edition of the 2015 GMC Terrain is also capable of being flat towed, so either way, you can’t go wrong with these simple instructions.
