Can you flat tow a 2015 GMC Terrain AWD?

I recently bought a motorhome and I want to tow my 2015 Terrain behind it. However, I’ve never towed a vehicle behind my motorhome, so I’m not sure what method is acceptable. Is it possible to flat tow a 2015 GMC Terrain that has all-wheel drive?

You can flat tow a 2015 GMC Terrain AWD without any problems, so long as you follow the proper procedure.
To flat tow a 2015 GMC Terrain AWD without damaging it, follow these steps:
  1. Position the vehicle to be towed and secure it to the towing vehicle.
  2. Turn the ignition key to on/run.
  3. Shift the transmission neutral.
  4. Turn the ignition key to accessory (ACC).
  5. Turn all accessories off.
  6. To prevent the battery from draining while the vehicle is being towed, remove Fuse 32 from the instrument panel fuse block and store it in a safe location.
The front-wheel-drive edition of the 2015 GMC Terrain is also capable of being flat towed, so either way, you can’t go wrong with these simple instructions.
