Can you flat tow a 2011 Ford F150 4x4?

I have an RV that I bought on the cheap to take my Ford F150 4x4 to off-road tracks and save on accommodation. However, I didn’t think about how I was going to tow it. Is it possible to flat tow a 2011 F150 4x4?

Sounds like a great plan! You can flat tow a 2011 Ford F150 4x4 as long as it comes equipped with a manual transfer case. To tell if your F150 has a manual transfer case, simply look for a 4-LO mode on your four-wheel-drive shift selector.
If you have a manual transfer case, follow these steps to successfully flat tow the truck without damaging it:
  1. Release the parking brake.
  2. Turn the key in the ignition to the off position.
  3. Place the transmission in Neutral.
  4. Place the transfer case lever in Neutral.
  5. Only tow the vehicle in the forward position to ensure no damage is done to the internal transfer case components.
If you want some added peace of mind on your next trip, you can simultaneously get the coverage you want and reduce your
