Can you drive Uber in another state?

I live right on the Mississippi River near St. Louis. I already drive for Uber in Missouri, but I was thinking about doing the same in Illinois for some extra cash. Can you drive Uber in two states?

If you want to make extra cash, driving for Uber in two states is a sound idea. However, it’s up to the state, as well as Uber. Uber drivers can only drive in areas where they’ve been approved with a background check and other regulations.
The idea is to sign up to drive Uber in
Illinois
on top of
Missouri
. Because you live in St. Louis and lots of traffic goes across the river, you shouldn’t have any issues driving across the state line. In fact, you may already have the approval to drive. Just check with Uber to make sure and upload any necessary documents.
If everything is good to go with Uber, remember that you may need to update your
