Can you be forced to pay for car insurance for adult children?

I have two adult children in my household. They both have a driver's license but they never drive my SUV. Can I be forced to pay for their car insurance anyway?

You should have the option of excluding your children from your policy since they don’t drive your SUV, but every

company has their own rules. Some may have more restrictions regarding licensed drivers in a single household.

If your company won’t allow you to exclude your children, then you may want to shop around to find a more accommodating insurer. You shouldn’t have to pay for coverage for a pair of drivers who never drive your SUV.
