Can you adjust your mirrors during a driving test?

Will I be allowed to adjust my mirrors during my driving test? I have this weird fear that my rearview mirror will be off and then I’ll have to take the whole driving test without being able to see behind me. Please tell me that won’t happen.

That will not happen. You are allowed to adjust your mirrors during your driving test! In fact, it’s a good idea to do so if it improves your safety—your instructor shouldn’t mind at all.
Remember, though, that you should still check your blindspots when changing lanes, moving to the curb, or moving away from the curb. Even if you can see perfectly
out of your mirrors
, it’s still possible that you’ll miss an obstacle if it’s in the wrong place at the wrong time.
