I just scheduled my first driving test. I live in Florida and I have sensitive eyes, so I always wear sunglasses. However, my dad told me I shouldn’t wear them during the exam. Is he right? Or is it OK to wear sunglasses while I’m taking my driving test?

Driving instructors and examiners are tasked with judging your awareness behind the wheel. Whether you’re reversing, checking your blind spots, or looking in your mirrors, the examiner wants to see your eyes to confirm you’re focusing on the right things.
When the examiner can’t see where you’re looking, they can’t make an accurate assessment of your driving skills. This may lead to deductions on your test score.
