“This is not a good idea. You have a better chance of getting a loan by telling the truth and even if you didn’t then it’s still a bad idea. The lender will catch the lie and then you will be denied the loan.
Lying on a loan application is considered fraud, which can result in criminal prosecution.
If you’re worried about approval on the loan, you still have options. You can buy a used car or consider
leasing vs. buying
