Can I have a pinball machine in the gaming room in the garage?
I have always wanted to have my own pinball machine, but I can only put it in the three-car garage. Are there any concerns I need to have regarding temperature if I put a gaming room in my garage?

A gaming room in a garage sounds like the perfect solution! Pinball machines take up a lot of space and get pretty loud. Here are some tips to keep your pinball machine safe:
Keep it out of direct sunlight
Get a dehumidifier if you live in a damp climate
You should keep the garage between 65° - 70° year-round
If it is too hard to control the climate in the whole garage, consider walling off a small section
Consider having all the pinball machines on one circuit breaker. A 20 amp breaker can hold five machines
Once you start your pinball machine collection, update the personal property coverage on your homeowners policy. Since pinball machines have a value between $600 - $10,000, you may even want to have them appraised and put on a floater, which is a special type of insurance policy.
