“New Hampshire is the only state in the country that doesn’t require
car insurance
without paying any fees to opt out. If you choose this route, be warned that the State of New Hampshire requires you to pay the full amount of property and bodily damages whether you’re at fault or the other driver is at fault.
Because of the financial burden this might cause, a vast majority of New Hampshirites choose to purchase at least
liability coverage
to protect themselves from financial ruin. Keep in mind that medical payments of $1,000 is also required by law. Drivers in New Hampshire pay an average of $475 a year.”
