information, your best bet is to begin the claims process with your own insurance company.

You can provide them with all the information you have regarding the accident, including the other driver’s name and license plate number, the date of the accident, and proof of loss (the damage caused to your vehicle). This information will help them find out if the other driver has insurance and seek reimbursement through their company, if applicable. “
