California has the highest number of EVs registered in the U.S. with Los Angeles being the city with the most EV drivers. Los Angeles Airport (LAX) was known for its free EV parking, however, it, along with similar public places has revoked this due to sustainability issues.
The good news is that the city is working on developing other parking/charging spots for EV drivers. Within the past couple of years, the city has collaborated with FLO—a leading North American EV charging network—to install charging stations on streetlight posts.
It is a convenient way to ensure quick and accessible charging to drivers on the road while also giving drivers a place to park.Charging costs around $1 to $2 per hour while parking is free
