Can an 18-year-old get approved for a small car loan?
"I just turned 18 and I want to get a car to go to school and my job. I want to spend about $6,000, and I have $2,000 for a down payment. Can I get approved for a car loan?"

“You might be able to get a car loan, but chances are you’ll need a cosigner. Since you have a limited credit history, you probably won’t get approved on your own.
