Audi A5 2016 vs 2017: Which one should I pick?
I’ve found great deals on two used Audi A5’s, a 2016 and a 2017. I can afford either, and both seem to be in the same condition. They’re even the same color! So which one should I go with?

2016 vs 2017 are both great, but let’s take a look at the features of both cars; there’s very little separating them. The 2017 Audi A5 comes standard with rear parking aid, while a reverse camera, an electrochromatic rearview mirror, seat memory, and a blind spot monitor are all optional. These options weren’t available in the 2016 model, but this will boil down to which ones were chosen by the car’s original owner.
Both cars are luxurious, with comfortable front seats and beautiful contemporary styling. And both cars endure the same shortcomings, too—lackluster trunk space and cramped rear seating. Though ultimately we think the Audi A5 is a great car despite these issues.
So which option do you choose? All things being equal, we’d take the 2017 Audi A5 over the 2016 model, if only for the minor updates it offers and access to a few nicer options. But we ultimately suggest test driving both cars if you can to see which one you connect with more.
