Should I pay to rent a Zipcar? As a non-car owner who lives in a city, I don't need to drive that often. It's usually when I have to something that's inconvenient to get to on public transportation.

as well as roadside assistance. The hourly rates for renting are as low as $9 per hour, depending on where you live. If you need a car to run an occasional errand, Zipcar can be a safe and reliable option, as long as there is a Zipcar station near you. If not, there are other subscription services available in most major cities. You can research to find what the best options are for you.
