- Make sure that you yield to all oncoming traffic
- Don’t make a U-turn whenever a sign prohibits it
- Only make a U-turn if you’re in the left-most lane of a multi-lane road
Keep in mind that if you fail to yield during a U-turn or do an illegal U-turn, you face three points on your license and a fine between $100 and $1,000.
