Are tires covered under the Subaru warranty?

One of the tires on my 2022 Subaru Outback just blew out. My car is only a few months old so I really wasn’t prepared to have to spend money on repairs this early on. Are tires covered under the Subaru warranty?

What a hassle! No one wants to pay for repairs on a car that’s practically new.
Unfortunately, tires are not covered under Subaru’s three-year/36,000-mile factory warranty—but you might have coverage from the tire manufacturer.
Most new tires come with a mileage warranty, but some of them also include limited coverage for damage caused by road hazards. If you’re not sure whether your Outback’s tires came with a manufacturer warranty, check the paperwork that came with your car.
