Are tires covered under the BMW warranty?
I have a 2019 BMW 540i xDrive, and I’ve noticed some wear on the tires. Does the BMW warranty cover tires?

Unfortunately, tires are not covered under the BMW Limited Warranty. Instead, they’re covered under warranty by their respective manufacturer. For details on which tire manufacturer’s warranty applies to your vehicle, you’ll need the following:
- Brand (tire manufacturer)
- Model
- Tire size
These can be found embossed in the sidewall of your tires.
However, if you want better coverage, BMW does offer additional warranty coverage that may include coverage for tires and rims. Their Endurance Elite Membership comes with several perks, including:
- Tire repair/replacement
- Personal concierge
- Key fob replacement
- ID theft recovery
- Roadside assistance
Generally speaking, the Endurance deductible is $100, but the cost of an Endurance Warranty will vary based on your mileage, year, make, model, and the plan you choose.
