Are struts covered under the Dodge warranty?

My Dodge Avenger is barely a year old and I’m already noticing that the tires are bouncing excessively. At the tire shop, I was told that the struts are probably to blame. Seeing as my car is so new, will my Dodge warranty cover struts?

It can be frustrating when there are issues with a new car! Struts are covered under your Dodge warranty if the cause for their malfunction is due to a factory or workmanship defect.
All Dodge vehicles have a limited factory warranty that covers repairs that are caused by faulty parts or subpar craftsmanship at the manufacturing plant. If it’s determined that the struts were damaged in an accident or by careless driving, the warranty will not pay to replace them.
Make sure that you have your repairs done at an authorized Dodge, Chrysler, Jeep, or Ram dealership so that the warranty will be honored.
