Are shocks covered under a warranty from Nissan?

I just bought a Nissan Kicks a couple of years ago and suddenly it started shaking a lot on the highway. My husband thinks it's an issue with the shocks, but how can I be having issues so soon? Are shocks covered under my Nissan warranty?

Car troubles are never fun—especially when you haven’t had the car for all that long. Technically, shocks are covered under the warranty from
Nissan
, as are almost all of the original parts and components from the Nissan manufacturing line. However, there is a catch.
Your Nissan warranty only covers the shocks and other components against defects that occurred during manufacturing—use of faulty parts, improper installation, and so on. The Nissan warranty does not cover shocks or any other components that are suffering from the effects of wear and tear—even unusually fast wear and tear.
Contact your Nissan dealer to have your faulty shocks examined and to see if they are covered under warranty. If wear and tear are starting to ravage your
Nissan Kicks
faster than expected, you may want to start setting aside money for future repairs.
