According to Consumer Reports, Hyundai SUVs performed exceptionally well for the 2022 model year. In fact, they performed better than most of Hyundai’s other vehicles.
Keep in mind, however, that some of Hyundai’s SUVs performed much better than others.
For example, the 2022 Hyundai Tucson—the brand’s highest-rated SUV—received an overall rating of 89 out of 100 from Consumer Reports. For reference, the only SUV that got a better rating was the Subaru Forester, and it only beat out the Tucson by a single point.
The Tucson also received perfect scores for owner satisfaction and predicted reliability.
The 2022 Hyundai Palisade is also highly rated, earning an overall score of 87 out of 100 and a score of 4 out of 5 for both owner satisfaction and predicted reliability.
The Hyundai Kona and the Hyundai Santa Fe are slightly less impressive, earning scores of 66 out of 100 and 58 out of 100, respectively.
