Are electric vehicles better for the environment?
I know that gas cars are bad for the environment. But are electric cars really much better? I heard they create pollution too. So, are electric vehicles better for the environment?

Electric vehicles
aren’t perfect, but they are overall better for the environment **than traditional gas vehicles. According to a few studies, EVs do produce lower greenhouse gas emissions over their lifespan than gas cars do. Electric cars have a lower carbon footprint and no tailpipe emissions.
Even when accounting for electricity used for charging, the EPA has reported that EVs cause less pollution overall. The myth that EVs cause more pollution came about because of the fact that it does cause more pollution to create an EV.
