Are electric cars best for occasional use?
I’ve been thinking about buying my first electric car, but I’m slightly concerned because I have a long commute to-and-from work every day, so I’d be driving it a lot. Are electric cars best for more occasional use, or can I drive it every single day?

have a charge range of about 200 miles, meaning you’ll be covered for daily driving. If your commute is shorter than that, you may not even need to fully charge your car every night! In fact, charging your car less frequently, and keeping the charge between 20-80% battery power will help to extend the life of your battery. Like any other car, if you leave your electric car sitting for a few months, you may notice some small issues such as low tire pressure upon your next startup. If you plan to not use your car for an extended period of time, it is best to leave it unplugged with about a 50% charge in a place where it is protected from extreme temperatures or inclement weather.
