Are batteries covered under the RAM warranty?
I went to start my pickup the other day and it seemed like the battery was about to give out. I still managed to start it, but I’m worried that I’m going to have to pay for a new one out of pocket. Is the battery covered under my RAM’s warranty?

RAM
warranty may cover the battery, but only if it’s somehow the result of a manufacturer’s defect. The faulty battery would have to fall within the 3-year, 36,000-mile basic warranty that RAM offers on all its new trucks—otherwise, you’re going to have to pay for it out of pocket.However, you have nothing to lose by taking your truck to the dealership to see if RAM is at fault. Sometimes, the mechanic may find that the battery is indeed the fault of RAM, or it’s something far simpler, such as your battery just needs to have corrosion cleared off the terminals.
If you have to pay for a new battery out of pocket, prices range from about $100 for a one-year battery to $370 for a five-year battery.
