Currently, Audi sells six SUVs in the U.S., with the family-hauling Q7 ranking as the most expensive to maintain, and a new player—the new electric Q4 e-tron—ranking as the cheapest to maintain on an average yearly basis. Here’s how Audi SUVs stack up in terms of maintenance costs, from cheapest to most expensive. All prices are courtesy of RepairPal.
The discrepancy between the Q4 e-tron maintenance cost is due to the fact that it is an electric vehicle, with far fewer parts to service and maintain than a gas vehicle. Also, the Q4 e-tron, which starts at $49,995**, is the affordable version of Audi’s electric SUV. The e-tron, with starts at more than $71,000, is a much pricier vehicle, and thus more expensive to maintain.
