Subaru has made its symmetrical all-wheel drive a standard feature on almost all of their vehicles—regardless of style or trim. The Subaru Outback’s AWD system pairs with an automatic CVT transmission and a 182-hp 2.5-L four-cylinder engine. The 2023 model is on the pricier side of Subaru’s lineup starting at $29,620, but you’ll get a lot of function.
The only downside of a higher starting price is that you may see more expensive
