Are all Subaru Foresters AWD?
I’m getting ready to buy a new car, but I regularly tackle trails in my area. I like the Subaru Forester, but I only want it if it comes with the right features included. Is the Subaru Forester AWD?

All-wheel drive is definitely an important feature when it comes to tackling the open trail. Luckily for you and your local Subaru salesperson, all Subaru Foresters come standard with AWD! Considering its 8.7-inch ground clearance and an affordable starting price of $27,620 for the 2023 model year, the standard AWD is only one pro for taking a Subaru Forester off-road.
The Subaru Forester—and almost every other Subaru vehicle—has come standard with Subaru’s symmetrical all-wheel drive for most (if not all) of its production. This drivetrain works in tandem with continuously variable automatic transmission (CVT) to channel the standard 2.5-L four-cylinder engine’s 182 horsepower to all four wheels.
The only downside is that the base Forester comes pretty sparse as far as other standard features are concerned, but upgrading to the next-level Premium trim ($30,620 MSRP) will take care of that. It may cause your
