Am I liable for damages after I let my brother drive my car?
I recently let my brother drive my car. About five seconds after getting behind the wheel, he backed into my mom's friend's car. I have state-minimum coverage of up to $5,000 for property damage. Am I liable for the damages or does that fall on my brother?

property damage liability
should cover the damage from a minor fender bender.That said, your rates will go up if you file a claim. To save money, you might offer to pay cash for the repairs. Have your mom’s friend get some estimates before you decide what to do.”
