Does home insurance cover injury to the homeowner?

I know insurance offers to pay for injuries to other people, but what about the policyholder?

Great question! Homeowners policies do have
liability coverage
and
medical coverage
, but these are for people who do not live inside the home. If a friend comes over, trips on your floorboard, and gets injured, they would be covered. If you trip on your floorboard and get injured, your homeowners policy would not cover you. You would need to rely on your health insurance instead.
