Can I have separate addresses for my insurance and registration?

I'm living with my partner and to get a parking permit at his building, his address needs to be on the car registration or insurance certificate. But the insurance is cheaper if my car is insured to my mom's address and under my name. Can I have separate addresses for my insurance and registration?

We are all looking for the best ways to save money. Having said that, while it may cost you more, it is important to have the address on your insurance policy match where the car is primarily kept. Insurance is a contract, and if the carrier becomes aware that false information was provided, the policy could be canceled or a claim could be denied, which will cost you so much more in the long run.
Work with your Jerry agent to see what other options are available to you to save money. Can you and your partner be listed on the same policy and get a multi-car discount? Can you save money if you get a renters policy for your apartment? Our job is to keep you protected and help you save money; we can help!
