How do I apply vinyl to a car window?

I just bought a Chevy Silverado, and I want to make it stand out by adding some vinyl to the car windows. How can I apply the vinyl so it stays straight and looks like a professional did it?

Adding a bit of flair to your Silverado is a great way to make it stand out! If you’re worried about placing vinyl decals on a car window, try not to stress. All you’ll need is window cleaner, a microfiber cloth, a squeegee or credit card, window cleaner, masking tape, and patience.
After you’ve gathered all of these items, follow these step-by-step instructions for a professional-looking job:
  • Use the window cleaner to clean the window.
  • Wipe the area dry with a microfiber cloth.
  • Place the vinyl decal in the proper location—do not remove the backing.
  • Apply masking tape to the top of the decal to hold it in place against the window.
  • Use a level to make sure your vinyl is straight.
  • Remove the backing slowly.
  • Use either a squeegee or credit card to slowly push the sticker onto the window from top to bottom, taking care to eliminate bubbles.
Congratulations—you just applied a new vinyl to your car. While your friends are busy admiring your new decal, take a minute to save on
