Ford Ranger Tremor design and features
The truck's height and wider stance were both pluses. According to J.D. Power, the hoop-style side step bars and other styling choices led to a distinctive truck that looks great on the road.
The review also mentioned the impressive interior of the truck. Both front seats have multidirectional adjustments. This allows the passenger and driver to make precise seat adjustments, and as a bonus, both seats are heated. J.D. Power said the Ranger Tremor also has the most room in the back seats out of any other competing truck on the market.
Other features, such as all-weather floor trays and black interior accents, give the inside of the truck both functional and aesthetic appeal.
J.D. Power was impressed with the off-road capabilities
The truck's Terrain Management System was also useful during J.D. Power's trail test. The steering is precise and capable of sharp turns. These features don't hinder the truck's on-road capabilities either. The suspension keeps the truck firmly fixed to the pavement.
Overall, J.D. Power was impressed with the Ford Ranger Tremor. But, there was one major flaw that prevented it from being the perfect truck.
Poor fuel economy is the main issue with the vehicle
J.D. Power didn’t find a use for the Trail Control feature that’s meant for low-speed off-road cruise control. The review also said that there might not be enough knee space under the steering wheel for taller drivers.
