The 90s were a special time for older Millennials. Back then, we were about to be young drivers and watched what the stars of our favorite TV shows drove. Today, we're starting to think about
the best cars for young drivers
as our own kids hit the roads.In the never-ending quest for the nostalgia of a simpler time, we decided to take a closer look at some of the iconic cars and

from our favorite TV shows. 
Seinfeld, the king of 90s TV and cars
What's the deal with Jerry Seinfeld and cars? The successful stand-up and sitcom star has struck gold with his recent show Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee.
The show features legends of comedy and some of the most beautiful classic cars. But Seinfeld's appreciation for cars can be found in his hit sitcom from the 90s.
Earlier in the show's run, Seinfeld's character drove a 1989 BMW 525i. While not nearly as fancy as something you'd find in Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee, the 525i was easily considered a high-end luxury car.
When this model first hit the market, it sold for $40,000, as reported by

. Seinfeld's character would go on to drive different model years of the BMW 525i, as well as a BMW 3-series. There were cars in the 90s hit 'Saved by the Bell'?
Oh, Saved by the Bell. When watching this show, many of our parents warned us that we'd be horrified as adults knowing we enjoyed this schlock. Boy were they right.
Nonetheless, Saved by the Bell influenced many of us on our first understanding of car culture, even if we didn't realize it at the time. For example, Mr. Building drove a Ford Pinto. Cementing in our minds that this was a dorky car for principles.
Later, Zack and band members of the band Zack Attack would be shuttled around in a Lincoln Town Car Stretched Limousine. Which allowed our young and impressionable minds to know that Limos, preferably Lincoln Town Car Limos, are for VIPs.
The Fresh Prince and fine cars of Bel-Air
The Fresh Prince showed us what an affluent family from a prestigious neighborhood might drive. Uncle Phil would often drive a 1992 Mercedes-Benz 500 SEL. At the time, it was arguably the best luxury sedan on the market.
One of the show's most notable cars was the 1994 Chevrolet Camaro. The Camaro was so showy that it was known to distract the audience from what the actors were doing. For that reason, the Camaro only appears in a few episodes.
Of course, the most iconic car from Fresh Prince appears in every episode. We're talking about the iconic taxicab that picks up Will Smith in the opening song. A lot of speculation and rumors have been written about that cab.
One of our favorites is that the cab is a repurposed Chevrolet Bel Air. A nice detail if true, but it has yet to be confirmed.
