What is the 2022 Lincoln Nautilus?
The 2022 Lincoln Nautilus is one of the most affordable new premium midsize SUVs/ crossovers.

describes the car as "a luxurious ride quality and plenty of features at a price below the class king, the Lexus RX
."This car comes in three different models: the basic Nautilus, Reserve and Black Label. The models go from cheapest to most expensive, in that order (but more on the actual prices later!) Some notable features included in all models of this car are the turbocharged four-cylinder engine (with the option to upgrade to V6 for an additional cost), a large grille, adjustable front seats, and five seats total with plenty of leg and headroom for each passenger.
On the inside of the vehicle, rear legroom measures 39.6 inches, and there’s 37.2 cubic feet of truck space, which expands to 68.8 cubic feet when the rear seats are completely folded down. There’s also a 13.2-inch touchscreen navigation system on the dashboard, and a driver’s digital instrument cluster.
One interesting thing about all Lincoln Nautilus vehicles is the lack of a handle to switch between gear functions. Instead, the car has buttons for functions like park, reverse, and drive that the driver needs to press to switch the car into a new gear. This definitely takes some getting used to, but once you practice a bit it will feel natural.
What’s new from last year on the 2022 Lincoln Nautilus?
The 2022 Lincoln Nautilus doesn’t have a ton of upgrades from previous models, but truthfully Lincoln didn’t need to make many changes. The previous year models of the Lincoln Nautilus are impressive enough and make the vehicle a
solid choice for families
and solo drivers alike. In the latest model, the only real changes Lincoln made was adding new options to the exterior paint choices for drivers, and upgrading optional equipment.
What’s the price point for the 2022 Lincoln Nautilus?
As we mentioned earlier, the 2022 Lincoln Nautilus comes in three options: Basic, Reserve, and Black Label.
The basic model, with a front drive and a 4-cylinder engine is expected to start around $43,000. To upgrade the basic model to all-wheel drive is an additional $2,500. The Black Label, which comes standard with all-wheel drive, is expected to start around $65,000, with the Reserve falling somewhere in the middle of those two.
The basic model of the Nautilus is right in the ballpark of other affordable SUVs, but just a tad lower. The comparable Cadillac XT5 starts at $45,000 and the Lexus RX comes in at a bit over that, while
Genesis GV80
starts around $50,000. Remember, no matter what the price is for the car you get, you’ll always need to get car insurance with it.
