through the AR DMV’s website
To initiate the replacement process, visit the DFA duplicate license application
portal
. You will need to provide basic information to verify your identity, including: 
  • Last name
  • Date of birth
  • Driver’s license number
  • Last five digits of your Social Security number
Follow the prompts for the online application process, and prepare to pay $10 for a duplicate copy. Your replacement card should arrive by mail in three business days or less.

Replacing a lost Arkansas license in person

If you decide to replace your lost license in person, you’ll need to visit your local Arkansas revenue office or DMV
The first step to get your duplicate driver’s license is to pre-register online. You will save time by starting the application process ahead of time, and you will be given a case number to bring to the DMV. 
The portal will also explain exactly what sort of documentation you will need, but you can also use the driver’s license

. Generally, you will need to present: 
  • One document as proof of legal presence
  • Social Security number
  • One document as proof of identify 
  • Two documents as proof of AR residency (only required if also updating to a REAL ID)
Bring payment for the $10 duplicate fee and prepare to take a new photo at the issuing driver’s license office. 

What if you lose your Arkansas license out of state?

If you’re out of state and lose your Arkansas license, don’t lose hope—you can put in a request with the Arkansas ODS to send you a duplicate license application.
