Yes, the 2022 Nissan Rogue has Apple Carplay. Every trim level—the S, SV, SL, and Platinum—hassupport for both Apple Carplay and Android Auto. Nissan Rogue models have had CarPlay support since 2018.
You can enjoy wireless connectivity on your Rogue only if you have an SL with an upgraded Premium package (SL Premium) or the higher Platinum trim level. The regular SL trim level doesn’t have wireless connectivity. The Platinum also comes with a wireless charging pad for your device.
If you have an S, SV, or a regular SL, you’ll have to use a USB cable to connect your device to use Apple CarPlay.
How to use Apple CarPlay on a 2022 Nissan Rogue
To use Apple CarPlay on your Rogue, you’re going to need to have a USB cable ready. If you have an SL Premium or Platinum, you can connect wirelessly.
Siri and CarPlay have to be enabled on your phone. To do this, go to Settings → Screen Time → Content & Privacy Restrictions → Allowed Apps and make sure that both CarPlay and Siri are enabled. This only works with devices that have iOS 7.1 and above.
Setting up CarPlay
Setting up CarPlay depends on your trim level—we’ve included instructions for both USB and wireless connection. As always, check your owner’s manual for detailed instructions.
To connect via Bluetooth for SL Premium and Platinum trims, activate Wi-Fi and Bluetooth on your iPhone and pair it with your NissanConnect system. Once paired, a pop-up will appear asking if you want to use CarPlay wirelessly. Click yes, and your iPhone should now be paired.
To connect with a USB for S, SV, SL Regular trims, use an Apple Lightning-to-USB cable. The USB port should be located right below the screen. Once connected, accept any prompts to allow CarPlay permissions.
